I wonder if the Germans would be able to build cars in the first place without (Arab) algebra. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algebra

By the way, all those bombs that were dropped on London by Nazi Germany, can be classified as "German Engineering", right?

Here's some more German engineering. The crowd must be rolling in laughter by now. Oh wait.....it's not funny anymore, is it?

Sorry your relative moralism isn't going to work. The Germans were an indentifiable single country with defined army. With few exceptions, German enemies wore uniforms to distinguish themselves from noncombatants. They did pubically behead their enemies out of a religious fervor. That's not to excuse what they did, because it was atrocious, but they were defeated by the same forces who are going to finally quell the Extremist Muslim uprising.

Extremist Muslims have raped, plundered and pilliaged Europe, Asia, and Africa for a 1,000 years through their Crusades. It continues today, only now they have expanded to North and South America. Even the Catholic Church's Inquisitions, which originated as a response to the Crusades, did not wreak anywhere near the havoc. The Catholic Church has issued formal apologies for the Inquisition and is not acting similarly today. The Extremist Muslims are still at it.

The vast, vast majority of Catholics condemn the Inquisition, yet try to find a Muslim that will codemn their faith's actions. There are many who do not support it, be are to afraid of having their own selvesa nd families tortured if they do.

So, comparing the Germans in WWI and WWII to the reign 1,000 year reign of terror of the Muslin world is so ridiculous that you expose your ignorance just by suggesting it.

Dude, the Germany problems have been over for 60 years. They have redeemed themselves. Do or do not extreme muslims still blow themselves up to kill innocent people? Yes, so you cant compare the two. You are part of the problem by defending the actions of these people. Im real close to where your brothers trainged to fly those planes into the WTC towers. Dont you preach to me dude.

You said "Do or do not extreme muslims ....." Yes they do. I never said they didn't. Read the original post again. It says "Arab". The two are different and if you don’t know the difference between them then you need not participate in this discussion and perhaps hit the books more often. There are Christian Arabs too, but you probably didn’t know that either, did you?

To condemn an entire ethnic group because of the actions of a few is ludicrous and idiotic. Plus, I never defended their actions. I think what they did on 9/11 is despicable and they are not my brothers nor will they ever be

The point is, he's making a generalization about Arabs saying they are all terrorists which is not true. To make generalizations about an entire ethnic group because of the actions of a few is ludicrous.

Tbone, obviously, my sarcasm escaped you. I was making the same ridiculous point that you tried to make. I was saying, look at German engineering in relation to the death camps. Every nation and/or people have their bad sides and dark history they'd rather forget about. But they should not be judged solely by the negative events and actions in their history and culture. That was my point. Just the same way you look at suicide bombers and use the collective "Arabs" instead of a few extremists in your description.

Oh and by the way, I'm sorry, but you need to reread your history. While "Extremist Muslims have raped, plundered and pillaged Europe, Asia, and Africa for a 1,000 years through their Crusades” the same goes for Christian crusaders who plundered, raped and slaughtered thousands of Muslims throughout they’re crusades.

The vast vast…vast? What’s that…like 99% or perhaps 82%?

Listen, I'm not going to have a discussion with someone who's so diluted with their delusions of grandeur that they can't see through their own ignorance and lack of factual information. You know what they say, "you can't argue with an idiot".

I think you mean moral relativism. It must suck not to have English as your native language. You might want to stop using "Google Translate" to translate from German to English. It's only going to make things worse for you.

Um, speaking of not getting it, the relative moralism was intentional. For your sake, here is where you can look up the meaning of both relative (hint: don't choose the family member definition) and moralism. Use Google instead if you like since you recommend it.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/relative
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/moralism

Now, I will concede your point about not all Arabs being Muslims, but I did not create the title of that YouTube clip. If I could edit the title of my original post to say German Engineering vs. Extremist Muslim Technology, I would, but I can't.

By the way, my ancestors are from South Africa, which since continental drift occurred a few years ago, is nowhere near Germany, and I don't speak a word of German.

I would suggest that the forum moderator just delete this post thread altogether.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
