Postpone the U.S. Elections?  - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Greetings:

The level of fraud in this election cycle seems to have reached a new high. Literally, every day we are given news of discovery of hundreds or thousands of fraudulent voter registrations from groups like ACORN, although they are not alone. It has reached the point, IMHO, that I believe the Supreme Court should step in and rule that the ability of citizens to have their will carried out as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution cannot be assured. The election should be postponed until citizens can be reasonably certain that the degree of fraud cannot affect the outcome - either way - of the election.

Defenders of the status quo say that fraudulent registrations cannot harm anything because it would take warm bodies showing up at the polling places to actually vote. The problem is that the polling places are staffed with criminals who will do the voting for all the "voters" registered in the precinct after the doors are closed to the public. Before official results are reported, Mickey Mouse, Bart Simpson, and untold dead people will have cast their ballots. If not for legal intervention thus far, you can be sure that the majority of those 400,000 fraudulent ACORN registrants just uncovered by investigators in Ohio alone would have had their votes cast for them.

I unregistered from any party affiliation this year due to an utter disgust with both major parties in this country, but standing on the sideline and watching a presidential election be possibly stolen by either party is untenable. Now, I'm sure someone will invoke the 2000 election as proof of one already having been stolen, since the Supreme Court intervened to stop the counting - and re-counting, and re-counting - of "hanging chads" in Florida, but the undeniable fact is that not only did long-standing state law (written by a Democrat) prohibit the perpetual re-counting, but by every count (there was a total of something like 7 re-counts), Bush led Gore.

Your thoughts?

The Federal Election Commission had flagged 16,639 potential foreign donations as of October 21 that brought in $5,249,263.96 to the Obama campaign. These include origins from the Middle East, China, Russia, Canada, Africa, and Europe.

Fortunately for Obama, they know that George Bush and the majority of Republicans are too f***ing scared to do anything about it.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
