I'm mad as he** about this shooting, but I blame the gunman, not the gun. I guess you
have to have been there, but how is it that nobody lunged for this maniac, but instead
just let him roam and kill at will? Are there no self-sacrificing heros any more among
our youth? Maybe there are, but they're already serving in the military. What
I don't understand is why the Liberals are so upset at this guy. He didn't do any more
than the typical suicide bomber in Israel or Iraq. We don't hear them talking about
taking guns and bombs away from those idiots, or blaming the perpetrators for their
actions. Instead we should leave them be so they don't get mad at us and kill even more
innocents. Fundamentally, what is different about this scenario - a madman indiscrimanently
kills innocent bystanders? Hmmmmm? Sorry, but I'm really pi**ed that something
like this happened, and then to see the reaction be that society is to blame for ignoring
this piece of human debris. I heard a clip of one Congresswoman say this is why she
wanted to pass a bill limiting the size of clips for handguns, as if someone like this
nutbag wouldn't just bring a few extra clips along. Oh wait, I just read that
it's all Charleton Heston's fault - I kid you not. We're in deep doodoo.

There was a hero - an engineering professor named Liviu Librescu, who was shot while
barring the door to his classroom while telling students to escape out the window.
Isn't it strange that his name hasn't made it in the Mainstream Media? What's going
on here?

Dig this, dudes. Similar incident 5 years ago at a VA college, before all guns were
banned from the campuses. That time two students, one an off-duty police officer,
pulled their own guns on the guy and subdued him. Imagine if someone at VTech had a
concealed carry weapon on him/her. Maybe many fewer than 32 people would have died that
day.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
