...with SiLabs? See their earnings tanked. Heard discord in the ranks. Any insiders?

From silabs.com: Silicon Laboratories Reports Ten Percent Revenue Growth in the First
Quarter
AUSTIN, Texas – April 25, 2005 – Silicon Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq: SLAB),
a leader in high performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs, today reported revenues
of $105 million for the first quarter of 2005, a ten percent increase over the fourth
quarter. First quarter fully diluted GAAP earnings per share increased 29 percent sequentially
to $0.31. The company also announced that Daniel Artusi
has resigned as president and chief executive officer and from the board of directors
to pursue other interests. Nav Sooch, chairman of the board of directors, was
named as interim chief executive officer.
Motley Fool doesn't know why but
something is definitely up. Not too good when the head honcho hits the silk.

too bad and notice that a lot of RF CMOS companies are going down the tubes - from start
ups to larger ones.
people are realizing what academic types don't want to admit
-- CMOS sucks for RF IC's!

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
