I have spent some time, making a small program to
view s-parameter files. Nothing big, but much faster
than opening microwave office or ADS. Idea is to
associate s2p files with the program, and simply
open by double click on the files. Status
is, that beta release is ready, but since I lost
my job, I have nobody to help me verifying, and
don't really use it myself either. Therefore
I would appreciate if somebody could help me with
some feedback. Could be like - Reporting bugs
- Ideas for new features - General feedback like.
Don't bother to go any further, or when is the next
release The software come with a little presentation
which can be seen on
www.orlaus.dk/SPARGRAPH at the end of the pressentation,
is a link for downloading software. Thank
you for your time Orla

Nice program Orla. It looks very useful as-is now.
Are there any other features you have planned, or
will it remain just an s2p file viewer?

First thing is to know if it's stable, and able
to run on different platforms. And to know that
somebody will actually use it.
The math
behind de-embedding is actually finished, but the
user interface is tricky, and have lots of possible
errors. I don't know how important it is.
Current version can only read Scattering parameters.
Another thing could be to implement VSWR and
Polar plots.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
