Job Description:
As a member of the National Team, this staff position reports directly
to the CCM Team Lead. The position requires the ability to plan, organize,
control and execute and provide oversight of the Discrimination Engineering
activities. CCM Product Team Deputy is responsible for assisting the
team lead with managing a technical team consisting of industry, FFRDC,
and SETA personnel. The team is responsible for the following products
and activities: System Discrimination Architecture Definition, Discrimination
Infrastructure, Target Designation Improvements, Systems Engineering
and Specials Topics. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Project Management, Team
Leadership, demonstrated interpersonal communications skills, able to
work with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task. Individual must
have a technical analytical background (engineering, physics, and applied
mathematics) as well as experience in complex large scale System Engineering
and Integrated programs for DoD, NASA, etc. Individual must have excellent
team building and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to formulate
unstructured problems and experience managing a large number of tasks
in a dynamic environment are also requirements. Manages employees and
mid-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in
the area of Systems Engineering. Develops and executes integrated organizational
plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business
and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for
organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers
and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships
and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct
reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products
and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level
managers.
Education Requirements: DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years working weapons development programs or systems of systems
programs with significant weapons components as a Program/Project Lead.
Solid understanding of Systems Engineering process and disciplines a
must. Technical background in software development technologies or programs
a must. Successful candidate must have the ability to communicate well,
and to create technical briefings for senior level decision makers.
**Must have the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.**
