Drug Testing policy at Qualcomm - RF Cafe Forums

Anon Post subject: Drug Testing policy at Qualcomm Posted: Sun May

Does
anyone know if there is a drug test screen that new hires at Qualcomm
have to go through?
If so is it done on site or before arriving?
Basically how much time is there between being hired and taking a drug
test?
Appreciate it.

that is a bit harsh for the occasional joint. Calms the nerves.

2005 11:41 am I was in Qualcomm for a bit. No drug testing was ever
done on me or anyone I know there.
Maybe they think drugs will
help people come up with good ideas. Who knows.

called "Qualcomm Interview." Their interviews are technical. Good

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
