Innovative Radar Systems Engineer opportunity in CNY - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Sensis Defense Emerging Concepts (EC) segment aspires to be a premier supplier of integrated ground and air sensor systems. EC embraces a system-of-systems approach, which includes designing systems with flexible architectures enabling our customers to optimize battlefield effectiveness. This charter includes conceptual definition, designing, developing, building and deploying defense systems. The Systems Engineering Group is the central focal point of these activities within EC.

The successful candidate for the Systems Engineering Lead for this effort must have broad technical expertise with general knowledge of radar systems architecture & requirements development. The successful candidate will lead a small team of engineers in driving the architecture requirements down into the key elements. Ability to grasp the "big picture" and understand how the subsets of the system relate to the whole.
The successful candidate will present to, and interface with, senior management, including DoD customers, and will need to contribute both leadership skills as well as being an individual technical contributor when required.

Will lead, direct and coordinate system architects, technical analysts, RF and signal processing subject matter experts (SME's), antenna SME's, software architects, and software design engineers. Will directly perform trade studies and lead/coordinate engineering specialists in their contributions to such trade studies.
In this particular role, you will work with a small team to realize the EC Product Line business plan. Tasks may involve support of concept development, capture plans, proposal support and program execution.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
