QUALITY ENGINEER NEEDED AKON, Inc., an established
manufacturer of RF/Microwave components, subassemblies
and subsystems for military, commercial and space
applications, has a current requirement for an experienced
Quality Engineer. The successful applicant will
have a strong interest in working in an RF/microwave
design and development environment designing microwave
components, (amplifiers, filters, oscillators, etc.)
and integrated multi-functional assemblies.
The primary responsibilities of the Quality
Engineers will be to administer the company’s quality
program accordance with customer and company requirements,
establish procedures for maintaining high standards
of quality, organize and promote company wide quality
improvement efforts, evaluate and develop improved
techniques for the control of AKON’s product quality
and reliability, supervise quality assurance specialists
and inspectors, act as liaison with customers and
other external parties on matters relating to the
company’s quality system Bachelors degree
required. Prior experience inspecting RF/microwave
components (amplifiers, filters, oscillators, etc.)
and integrated multi-functional assemblies on hybrid
MICs also required. Experience interfacing with
Aerospace Prime Contractor Quality Systems is highly

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
