The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi

Do anyone have onsite interview experience for RF Eng positions with Sprint? Can you please give some pointers w.r.t the questions asked?

Thanks a ton.

If you interview with me, I tend to mix up the questions and I identify quickly whether you have the full understanding or just the surface answers. Not to trick you, but to make sure whomever hires on enjoys their work and have the knowledge to be very successful.

Great question....with the consumer and feature rich applications continually demanding more speed, higher quality service, and cheaper prices, my team, being a functional R&D organization, will continue to have new technologies such as Rel A, WiMax, alternative mobile transmission/receive technologies and countless other items to study, trial, and improve upon. Our function is to look at ways to make our technology work better - kind of a good to great strategy - rather than break fix type analysis - this approach applies to all RF technologies that come our way.....have an awesome day!

Thank you for your reply!

This may be a sales thing...

But, there may be many potential CDMA markets in other continents.... Asia .. Australia where CDMA may not be so prevalent....

With the stature of the firm like Sprint... does it have any policy of expanding business in those regions??

Thanks,

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
