Posts: 5 Location: Manila, Philippines Hi! I just want to know
something about US working visas. Is October the only month they release
H1Bs? I heard that they've reached their allotted cap for this year
so those applying shall be defferred next year. Don't they release in
April?

Only people with Masters/Phd
degrees from USA can apply in that quota.

Germany Those are people who came from other countries to study
in US, and they need H1B visa in order to work after graduation.

International people who come to US for studying come on a student
visa (F-1). To work in a company, the company has to apply for their
work permit (H1-B). F-1 is only valid till the time they are in college,
and maybe for a year after their studies (if they apply for practical
training).

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
