29 Location: Overland Park, Kansas Only take it if you plan to
continue to study RF CDMA/EVDO books 15 hours per week minimum to keep
your mind sharp and build your skillset so when a full time RF job comes
up, you are more than ready.....sitting in a van and going home each
night and watching Letterman will cripple your ability to think at the
level engineers should.
I posted earlier today a list of the
top 3 books I'd recommend to build your skillset. My team treats these
books not as reference material, but they pretend each Friday is "finals"
day and they study the books to the point where they can be "tested"
by their peers to ensure they retained what they read.
Samuel
Yang is tops.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
