Hello,
This is regarding the intermodulation
products from Multicarrier transmission. Suppose
I have six carriers (1840.6 Mhz,1841.6Mhz,1842.6MHz,1843.6MHz,1844.6
MHz and 1845.6 MHz) spaced 1Mhz apart and fed to
a power amplifier. In this case howmany pure
IM3 products will be there?. I did excel calculation
and come up with 30 IM3 products(calculated using
2*f2-f1....). Is this correct? How many IM5 and
IM7 products? Has anybody got excel/matlab for
making this type of calculations? Appreciate
your help.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
