Greetings:
I am pleased to announce that
the Test & Measurement Forum now has a moderator.
Screen Name:
RFTEJerry.
Jerry and I worked together briefly while I
was with Harris, in Florida, way back in the mid-1990s.
He brings to the forum 30 years (+/-) of experience
as a test engineer. Jerry's years of designing and
troubleshooting sophisticated automated test equipment
(ATE) systems for military customers includes hardware,
software, simulation, and project management. He
is a no-nonsense guy with little tolerance for bureaucratic
idiocy. In many ways, we are kindred spirits.
So, please welcome Jerry as moderator. He will
devote available time to responding to your posts
and generally working to encourage greater participation
in the forum.
Thanks, Jerry. .

Hello Test and Measurement Forum members,
My 32 year engineering career has been all in
the test and measurement field. I have designed
test instruments and ATE systems for Harris Corp,
ATE systems and TPSs for Grumman Corp and now Lockheed
Martin. The last 23 years have been in RF test.
I have used almost every piece of RF test equipment
made by HP/Agilent and have also used some by Anritsu
and Aeroflex. I want to thank Kirt for his
trust in me to moderate this forum and I encourage
all to participate with your questions, comments
and answers. It is through sharing our experiences
that we grow in our knowledge and I firmly believe
in brainstorming - no questions is to simple and
no answer is stupid. I will try to do my
best to serve you as the moderator for this forum.
Please feel free to contact me at
RFTEJerry@yahoo.com
Happy testing, RFTEJerry

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
