AeroComm is the worldwide leader in providing Instant Wireless data communications to original equipment manufacturers. Our company commands the industry with consistent breakthroughs, such as superior RF price and performance for both industrial and commercial applications.

AeroComm has been developing wireless solutions since 1990. We maintain our headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas, and a regional sales/marketing branch in Salt Lake City, Utah. AeroComm’s products are distributed throughout North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.

What We Do

AeroComm designs, manufactures and markets spread spectrum data radios for OEM integration or commercial plug-and-play. Our compelling technology enables manufacturers to buy, rather than make, RF capability. This helps our customers reduce R&D schedules, expenses and uncertainties, while accelerating time to market with wireless.

How We Do It

The core technology behind AeroComm's products is revolutionary low-cost spread-spectrum design. Because AeroComm systems use unlicensed frequencies, they cost less to install and maintain. Plus, our corporate focus is now frequency-hopping technology for its lower cost, lower power consumption, better interference immunity and smaller size. Additional benefits of ConnexRF technology include superior interference immunity, high data rates and seamless integration. Our unique and proprietary methods of implementing FHSS enable wireless applications that were previously cost-prohibitive or functionally inadequate.

OEM RF modules AeroComm offers a line of agency-approved spread-spectrum RF modules to meet OEM needs for varying range, data throughput and cost. Additionally, we develop custom RF solutions under contract with major OEMs. Applications for ConnexRF products include vending machine monitoring, remote control devices, handheld data collection, building security, HVAC, irrigation control, vehicle data applications, commercial lighting controllers, electronic signs, etc.

Wireless RS232 Data Links These plug-and-play RS232 wireless transceivers enable reliable local-area communication in industrial, commercial and small office applications. Powered by a ConnexRF 10mW or 200mW radio in the 2.4 GHz license-free ISM band, ConnexLink and ConnexModem systems are ideal solutions for serial data communications.

Wireless printer sharing systems Our GoPrint line of wireless printer sharing devices allows SOHOs to connect up to 8 printers with up to 128 PCs, eliminating the need for complex networking when printer sharing is the primary requirement. GoPrints are available direct from AeroComm as well as through catalog warehouses such as Global Computer Supplies.

    BSEE - KB3UON

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
