Bluetooth on my glasses frames - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

OK, you'll think i'm nuts but i've got witnesses. Sitting at my desk with metal frame glasses on i could swear i heard conversation. When i moved my head it would be clearer of fainter. Turns out i was picking up from neighboring engineer's bluetooth wireless headset to his cellphone. Someone else got the same thing when putting my glasses on. Now we can't get it to replicate. Very wierd. Must have been just the right dirty metal-to-metal interface in the hinge area or where the frames screw together around the lenses.

Should i apply for a patent?

No patent for you but your name has been forwarded to the FBI because you appearently are engaged in illegally wiretapping your fellow engineer. :-D
