Two questions on digital broadcast.
When
a digital signal is passed through a component or
filter, what type of slope can a digital signal
have in any 6MHz segment?
What would the
minimum VSWR for a digital transmit be through the
component or filter?
Any recommend lit on
this topic?
thanks!

Are you talking about digital cable or digital broacast
television?
What country is the system for?
Also, HDTV is term for the resolution of the
picture. DTV it the term for American digital broadcast
(8VSB) regardless of the information carried by
the signal.

I would say both Off air broadcast and over cable..
I was told that an over the air digital channel:
Channel Bandwidth: 5.2MHz Slope: +/- 1dB,...2dB
max Delay: 200uS.
I was not given the
suggested return loss.
I am looking for confirmation
or correction on this info.
It was suggested
that there was a Texas Istrument article but I haven't
been able to find it!
Thanks for any help!
