RFID HF antenna - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi guys,

Is there anyway that I could find tutorial/ examples of RFID antenna HF EM simulations? I'm not sure about the geometry or how to define the port.

I understand that the SWR preferrable <1.5. Is this requirement after we include the IC parameters (which is capacitive) or should I get this SWR first by the coil antenna without the IC?

Would somebody outthere enlighten?
