Hi friends,

I want to design BPSK modulator for my communication system.I am very new to this stuff.I want to modulate 2 signals like one is information signal 1 khz freq while other is PN code 1 MHz freq ,and i want to modulate this signal using BPSK technique, but i dont have any idea about how to implement BPSK in hardware.

Could you please let me know that how can i achive this BPSK modualtion using hardware?could you please send me some basic idea, circuit or somthing which can help me to move ahead ?

Thanks
Harsh

Buy a 1k ohm resistor.

Let me know when you've done that and I'll tell you the next step.

You need either a double-balanced mixer (see www.minicircuits.com) or its digital equivalent, the exclusive-OR gate. Exor your 1kbps data with your 1 Mbps PN stream, then go to your modulator (dbm or exor) at whatever frequency you need..

Good Luck!

Use double balanced mixer (DBM) with DC - Fmax response. Also find out more about DC offset.

Did you ever try using a MAXIM device such as the MAX2900? They have an evaluation board available.

It's better then a 1K resistor.
