Low frequency Stability - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

hey all...

i'm new too all this...hope to learn from this forum.

what's the best way to obtain stability for HBT for 50 MHz to 1 GHz band for values for IC design. I tried feedback but the Cfb in the feedback loop is having too much affect on the bandwith and requires a big values for IC design (close to 40 pF). Shouldn't Cfb actually just provide blocking without much affecting the ac response? thanks a lot!!
