RFID CARD / JAMMER OR BLOCKER - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

I was wondering if anyone has any information on this question.

I need the smallest connector available for RF. It will be a board-to-board connection and the specs are below:

DC - 3 GHz
positive retention (SMA has a screw to retain the connection)

Is this a case where the two PCBs mate to each other through a connector rather than use a cable?

Board to Board connector use Coaxial? I have no seen that. Maybe some Board to Board series such JAE's (A Japanese Co.) products will satisfy your requirement.

maybe mmcx is best for you? or ssmc? maybe mini smp? you can see some sizes @ my website @ www.fairviewmicrowave.com. though other suppliers have larger selctions of mmcx & ssmc's

once upon a time Sealectro made a slide-in slide out-out miniature coaxial connector with berylium copper finger-stock. Not sure if it went up to 3GHz, but for sure up to 1Ghz min. Anyways, maybe H&S regs killed it off due to hazardous material restrictions.

You could try looking for the RF Connectors you need on everything RF http://www.everythingrf.com/rf-microwave-connectors
