Surface Mount Isolator? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

I am looking for a chip Isolator. 10 dB isolation at 900 MHz would be nice with less than 1 dB insertion loss. I want the smallest package possible. Anyone know of any suitable parts?

Hello RF Head,

I found some Isolators in M/A-COM website.

Here is an example:

http://www.macom.com/DataSheets/FR32%20 ... ASHEET.pdf

The selection guide of MA/COM can be found here:

http://www.macom.com/psc/jsp/ListParts. ... lators.txt

Amother great source for components search is
''RF Cafe Parts List'', it will be very useful for your search.

Here is the Isolatorsand Circulators page from there:

http://www.rfcafe.com/vendors/component ... lators.htm

Hope this helps.

Try everything RF - http://www.everythingrf.com/rf-microwave-isolators

You can search for RF Isolators by Specification from multiple manufacturers. Select "Surface Mount" under the filter "Package Type" to get a list of Surface Mount Isolators.
