Hello everybody, In few days i'm gonna
begin some TLP measures and modelling, i've been said that the voltage
measurements is rather easy to do, but that there would be some difficulties
in current measurements. Does someone know why? what could it be? I'm
searching the net for information and no clue about the difference that
could happen.
Thanx a lot

Is
your use of the TLP system for doing ESD testing? I have not performed
TLP testing, but have sat in a couple classes for it and work with folks
who do use a TLP tester for semiconductor ESD protection design. I do
not recall ever hearing about current measurements being more troublesome
than voltage measurements.

fact i misunderstood. There weren't a big deal with current measurements.
And yes it's for ESD testing. Do you know were i could find information
about components characteristics using TLP methods ?
Thanx
