What is the BW(30dB)-outband bandwidth? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Dear all,

I am designing a BPF for the 3G transceiver.

For the transmitter, the BPF is operating from 1920MHz to 1980MHz and it has 30dB outband rejection and 2.5dB in-band insertion loss.

The BW(3dB)- passband bandwidth is 60MHz and
What is the BW(30dB)-outband bandwidth???

Pls help me if anyone know this, thank you!!

30dB attenuation for the closest next system (it means 1990MHz in some countries unfortunatelly) pls check FCC, ETSI and Japanese frequency allocation
