hello all,
I designed a BPF filter at 7GHz BW=400MHz.
the filter topology is chebychef and the type of microstrip edge coupled.
I use the Ansoft Designer software.
my problem is bad VSWR,after
EM simulation i got -6dB R.L.
what could be the reason for this
? how can i improve the R.L. ?
thanks

is the ripple you designed for. The amount of ripple will dictate the
VSWR.
