how to design harmonic mixer - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi
Most of the recent design descriptions seem to be on pay-per-view university and patent research sites.
However, Microwave Journal January 2000 published a design that is fairly well described in some detail, for K band. Paper by Matjaz Vidmar.
I Googled under "anti-parallel" and "mixer" and found a few useful descriptions.
The Radio Society of GB published a design attributed to a Russian designer, but I cannot remember when exactly. This was the same as the MWJ one in Fig 2 "conventional design".
Good luck
