looking for a wirtten material about varactor diode in TCXO - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

I'm a student and i'm looking for an on-line reference about using of varactor diodes for temperature compensation in crystal oscillator circuits.
mainlly interested in the roll of the diode in series with the crystal and the use of back to back varactor diodes.

2. Design of Crystal and Other Harmonic Oscillators by Parzen.
