spiral inductor - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

can some one share with me about spiral inductor? i need some formula to design it.

It's old, but available in reprint from Dover Publications:
"Inductance Calculations, Working Formulas and Tables" by F.W. Grover has this and a bunch more.

You also could use an EM simulator like HFSS or better yet characterize a library of different inductors.
