Jamming Technique Engineer - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Seeking energetic, self-motivated individuals to provide engineering support for the development of an airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) jammer. Incumbent’s primary program will be in the Jammer Technique Optimization (JATO) Lab. Requires familiarity with high power RF and microwave amplifiers, airborne antenna and RF systems, electronic attack technology, and fundamental radar and communication systems. Responsibilities will include the development of AEA jamming techniques and tactics to support operational customers. Incumbent will also be responsible for attending technical meetings and reviews, reviewing and providing written comments on technical documentation, test planning and testing of the system, performance analysis, interface with other engineering groups such as threat analysis, and interface with the sponsor and external agencies. Responsibilities also include the analysis of operational requirements, specification of new equipment to meet those requirements, and laboratory development of advanced concept jamming techniques.

Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
