Republicans Block Job-Saving Bill in Senate - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Well today the Republican in the Senate blocked a bill that would have penalized U.S. employers who are shipping jobs overseas - at a time when unemployment is 10%. What have you got to say about that? :smt102

Dude, the last time I checked the Democrats still held a super majority in the Senate. The Republicans absolutely CANNOT BLOCK ANYTHING that they want to do.

If a bill does not make it to the floor or pass in the Senate since 2008, it is only because the Democrats are responsible for breaking unity. If every Dem votes for and every Rep votes against anything, it will pass. So don't try to blame this on the Republicans.

You are either a moron who doesn't understand how the government works, or you are intentionally spreading lies. I'm guessing you're a moron. :smt068
