advice needed please - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Only take it if you plan to continue to study RF CDMA/EVDO books 15 hours per week minimum to keep your mind sharp and build your skillset so when a full time RF job comes up, you are more than ready.....sitting in a van and going home each night and watching Letterman will cripple your ability to think at the level engineers should.

I posted earlier today a list of the top 3 books I'd recommend to build your skillset. My team treats these books not as reference material, but they pretend each Friday is "finals" day and they study the books to the point where they can be "tested" by their peers to ensure they retained what they read.

Samuel Yang is tops.
