Kirt, I loved your factoid on the trips to the areospace
labs at UM. I was a student there in the 1970s -
about the time you were roaming. Now I have someone
to blame my less-than-successful lab assignments

It really brought back memories.
I've worked
for NASA as an electrical engineer for almost 30
years now, mostly at Langley. You would have loved
working here. It's like a kid in a candy shop. We've
had upand down times, but overall a really great
career. My bad back will force me to take early
retirement. It's great to have a site like RF Cafe
to visit on a daily basis for a perfect mix of technical
content and humor/personal interest. I can really
relate to all the Estes rockets you flew way back
when.
Well, buddy, take care, and keep up
the great work! Maybe we'll meet af a flying event
some day - I'll look for an RF Cafe T-shirt!
