Gemini space program - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Kirt, I loved your factoid on the trips to the areospace labs at UM. I was a student there in the 1970s - about the time you were roaming. Now I have someone to blame my less-than-successful lab assignments on ;-). It really brought back memories.

I've worked for NASA as an electrical engineer for almost 30 years now, mostly at Langley. You would have loved working here. It's like a kid in a candy shop. We've had upand down times, but overall a really great career. My bad back will force me to take early retirement. It's great to have a site like RF Cafe to visit on a daily basis for a perfect mix of technical content and humor/personal interest. I can really relate to all the Estes rockets you flew way back when.

Well, buddy, take care, and keep up the great work! Maybe we'll meet af a flying event some day - I'll look for an RF Cafe T-shirt!
