Poll: Electronics Weekly Homepage - What Do You Think? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews
-- Miscellany

Greetings:

One of the websites I go to on a daily basis to pick up technical headlines is Electronics Weekly. A few days ago, they adopted a new format on the homepage that uses a scrolling timeline for presenting items. It's a unique method, and I can't decide whether or not I really like it. What do you think?

It's kind of a unique idea, but it seems like a lot of trouble for news items. I'm not all that concerned with a timeline, but it is a slick idea. I don't think it's worth your time doing that on RF Cafe IMO. :study:
