Does anyone know if commercial toilet seats are
purposely designed to make sure the sitter's legs
go to sleep within 5 minutes of the time he/she
sits down? I can read half a magazine on
the crapper at home with no ill effects, but man,
I barely get past the editorial page here at work
without practically needing to call for help to
stand up. Trying to walk back to the cubicle without
looking like a cripple is a challenge. Anyone
else out there noticed this?

I have noticed that also. I can lose $4000 playing
solitaire on my HP jornada pda at home, or read
an entire article in American Heritage of Invention
and Technology.
But at work I have to get
up quickly. Its a shame... its where I used to do
most of my most creative thinking.
Well....
if it werent for the newer toilet seats, the guy
on his cellphone in the next stall would bother
me anyway.....
The first few times I
heard a guy talking on the cellphone in the stall
I was just shocked. Now when it happens, I make
lots of groaning noises... Hey.... maybe his
wife wants to hear that kind of stuff !
