Per my understanding, due to AMPS signal co-existing
with CDMA signal, there is Single Tone Desense (STD)
spec for CDMA. I know that in WCDMA there are blockers
spec for GSM signal. How about AMPS for WCDMA? I
think that they could be operating in the same frequency.
For example, CDMA cell band center frequency is
836.5MHz, and WCDMA band 5 center freqeuncy is 836.5MHz.
Why AMPS signal will not bother WCMDA like CDMA?
My only guess is that operators could make sure
not to let AMPS co-exist with WCMDA.
Also
I would like to know if any carrier uses AMPS as
I doubt about it.
