How to calculate te operating bandwidth? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

How to calculate te operating bandwidth of a 23 GHz point to point microawave radio link system?

Well, you could start with the modulation used. This may tell you the required information BW, and from there you could make some educated guesses.

Of course if you knew the IF BW and any post-processing BW, that would help too.

Do you need to compute what bandwidth you will need for a particular service like maybe video links, or do you have a piece of hardware and would like to know what bandwidth it will support?
