Welcome to the new T&M forum - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor

Greetings:

I have noticed that a lot of questions are asked about T&M issues. Many times the topics do not comfortable fit into any of the other forum headings, so now we have this forum specifically for T&M.

As with design, there are a lot of "tricks of the trade" regarding testing methods, so your contributions to the knowledge base will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Kirt:
Good to see a forum devoted to RF testing. This is a subject close to my heart, both at home and at work. We will try to monitor regularly and comment when appropriate. Some of the members may be interested in the papers related to RF testing on our company website, www.ztechnology.com.

Greetings Guy:

You are welcome and encouraged to post any bits of wisdom on testing. I have a link to the Z Technology website on the Test Methodology Website page on RF Cafe. The topic highlighted there is "Antenna Selection & Use for Outdoor Field Testing."

You might want to try beginning a new topic on this forum to offer to field questions about making outdoor measurements.
