Job Description:

Lead technical strategy and customer technical discussions for engineering in support of the world-class L3Harris RF interference canceller product line. Work with customers to understand their mission needs and translate those to technical specifications for design teams. Analyze market conditions and forecast trends, examine our position against the competition, and develop an executable strategy for growing the business. Lead the marketing effort, educate customers, guide the product roadmap, and champion key initiatives. Work cross-functionally to influence teams to successfully execute the product strategy. Prepare clear and compelling technical responses to RFIs and RFPs leveraging our market-leading technology.

AN/MPN-25 Military Air Traffic Radar L3Harris - RF Cafe

Essential Functions:

  • Present clearly and concisely to customers and internal leadership
  • Write technical responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Architect co-site interference mitigation solutions
  • Lead internal teams to develop best value, optimized solutions
  • Develop technology roadmap and advocate for internal investment for strategic technology advancement
  • Perform market, competitor, and capability analysis for strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Act as primary technical point of contact for customers
  • Represent primary voice of the customer to internal teams
  • Establish intra-company and industry teams for joint pursuits
  • Develop and maintain marketing plan and materials
  • 25% Travel expected to support customer meetings as customer facilities open up to visitors (post COVID)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field with minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, OR, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Prior or current experience with RF interference canceller products
  • Prior or current experience with new business capture 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • MS in Engineering or equivalent field
  • Knowledge of antenna performance capabilities
  • Cosite interference mitigation experience
  • Knowledge of Interference Canceller technology
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) technologies and techniques
  • Knowledge of tactical communications technologies and techniques
  • Experience developing product/technology roadmaps
  • Product management experience

Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
