Production Positions: Production Line Supervisor & Assembly
Technician (Foreperson)
TRU Corporation currently as the following Production positions available:
Production Line Supervisor: Ensures the production
line delivers internal and external customer satisfaction regarding
order fulfillment. This will be accomplished by balancing and aligning
resources to deliver product to meet quality, schedule and cost objectives.
In conjunction with planning and materials coordinates and schedules
the production line. Works with Process Engineering, to identify, develop
and implement equipment, processes, procedures and methods to support
production line goals and objectives. In conjunction with Quality, identifies
improvement opportunities and resources to support initiatives and integrate
standards, procedures and processes. Person must effectively apply leadership
skills in the development, training and overall management of staff
to support business objectives. RF Microwave Mil-Aero Production, Process
Engineering and/or Operations Management experience required as well
as experience managing an operation to the latest military standards.
Bachelor’s degree or higher, 3-5 years experience as a Production Line
/ Work Cell Supervisor or similar role, working knowledge of quality
standards, certifications and specifications typical of mil-aero industry
interconnects,
Assembly Technician (Foreperson):
With minimal supervision, prepares, assembles, inspects and tests RF
Microwave cable, connector and associated interconnect products in accordance
with product and process specifications. Sets up and operates the assembly
equipment, tools, and fixtures necessary to assemble, inspect, and test
the products. Sets up and monitors assembly processes and makes recommendations
for improvement in support of process and product quality. Works with
Assembly Supervisor, QA, and Process Engineering to ensure product quality,
by identifying and resolving assembly issues. Accomplishes 100% of goals
while maintaining the highest level of quality by communicating departmental
job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results;
counseling and disciplining employees; enforcing systems, policies and
procedures. Maintains staff by orienting, training and directing employees.
Performs mechanical and electrical inspections and tests such as dimensional,
connector/cable retention, torque, VSWR, phase, loss, and impedance.
Minimum 1 year direct RF Microwave cable and connector experience and
minimum HS or equivalent.
