 This intriguing story of troubleshooting prowess - and luck - will appeal
to people like me who were around in the electronics industry in the 1970s and 1980s
when CMOS logic was just coming onto the scene. Everyone loved the low power aspect of
CMOS and rushed head-long into implementation, then had to put a lot of time into modifying
circuits to rectify issues. A new set of design rules were required. I won't spoil the
