“WIFFIES” Award Promotion of the AzCert™ Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite for Test Engine-enabled Devices Recognized in the Integrated Program Category Acton, MA – June 13, 2007 – Azimuth Systems, Inc., the leading provider of Wi-Fi engineering test equipment, today announced that it has received a bronze award in the Integrated Program category of the 2007 Wi-Fi Alliance® WIFFIES, which recognizes member companies that showcase innovative use of the Wi-Fi Alliance brands in six marketing categories. As a winner of the second annual brand awards, Azimuth was acknowledged for its thought leadership program promoting the AzCert™ Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite for Test Engine-enabled devices and the new Wi-Fi Alliance Test Engine architecture. Other bronze integrated program category winners include Seiko Epson Corporation and Sony Electronics, Inc. The Test Engine methodology was architected by the Wi-Fi Alliance task group for Application Specific Devices (ASDs), and Azimuth Systems was chosen by the Wi-Fi Alliance to develop tools required to execute the methodology. The AzCert Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite for Test Engine-enabled devices is now used by Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Laboratories (ATLs) and allows product vendors, device manufacturers and semiconductor vendors to pre-test their Station Devices using the same approach.
