Radiotronix Releases New SecureFOBTM
Wireless Development Kit to Support its Line of Transmitter and Receiver Modules
Oklahoma City, OKLAHOMA - Radiotronix, a growing RF
embedded radio company released today its new development kit for its 433MHz family of remote
control radio transmitter and receiver modules. The RK-433-RC development kit is designed to
simplify the design of applications requiring a simple, low cost, unidirectional radio link. Typical
applications would be remote, industrial, and machine controls or keyless entry. The RK-433-RC kit
includes 2ea complete SecureFOB™ transmitter devices featuring 433MHz transmitter modules from
Radiotronix, embedded loop antenna and a Microchip KEELOQ™ encoder chip for secure radio
communications. Also included in the kit is a Multi-Receiver-Unit (MRU) development board that is
matched to each SecureFOB™ through a Microchip KEELOQ™ decoder chip and able to work with any of the
433MHz line of Radiotronix 3V/5V receiver modules. The kit comes with 4ea receiver modules. The
SecureFOBs™ and Multi-Receiver Units (MRU) will soon be available as complete finished devices.
Additionally, design support files and schematics are available to assist engineers with designing
and manufacturing their own applications with this new development platform. The RK-433-RC
development kit has a suggested MSRP of $99 and will be available at all Radiotronix distributors in
the next few days. For more information on the kit or other Radiotronix products, contact the

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
