ACS Announces Release of LINC2 v2.72

ACS LINC2 v2.72Escondido, CA, July 7, 2009 -- Applied Computational Sciences -- A new version of the LINC2 Pro RF and microwave design and simulation software suite has been released by ACS (Applied Computational Sciences, LLC). LINC2 V2.72 includes many new enhancements and upgrades, including new circuit models and simulation methods. Included among the many new enhancements are variable parameter sweeps, user defined equations, and special output functions for post processing simulation data. Special intrinsic functions provide new ways of processing and viewing simulation results such as finding and tracking the frequency point at which the maximum value of a circuit response occurs or tracking the frequency of oscillation for an oscillator relative to the value of a variable parameter or circuit component value.

The latest edition of LINC2 also offers an enhanced schematic capture and editing environment, including new user settings for simulation control and the ability to save settings to disk for later instant recall. Recent versions offer a snap-to-grid feature for easy placement and alignment of components on the schematic page.

ACS LINC2 v2.72 Amplifier ExampleCircuits can be entered manually or created automatically by a number of circuit synthesis modules. The LINC2 Pro RF and microwave circuit design and analysis software suite combines circuit synthesis, simulation, optimization and statistical yield analysis into a single integrated design environment at an affordable cost.
