EL SEGUNDO, CA – June 3, 2010 – The Story: Multitest, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of test equipment for semiconductor integrated circuits (ICs), has been able to leverage the efficiency of AWR’s ACE™ automated circuit extraction technology within Microwave Office® software to simplify and streamline its printed circuit board (PCB) simulations so that they are completed in significantly less time.
Microwave Office enables Multitest designers to readily create libraries for several different PCB stackups (various numbers of layers and thicknesses).

With the ACE technology invoked within AWR’s Microwave Office software, the designers are able to successfully simulate any board desired while maintaining appropriate via models as well.

“Using AWR’s software, Multitest is able to accurately and efficiently simulate PCB interfaces prior to fabrication. This gives our customers the confidence they need before they even receive our hardware,” said Ryan Satrom, signal integrity engineer at Multitest.
