Z-Communications' V500ME03-LF, UHF VCO Features Low Phase Noise

V500ME03-LF phase noiseZ-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V500ME03-LF in UHF-band. The V500ME03-LF operates at 500-1000 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-11 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -105 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 54 MHz/V.

V500ME03-LF packageThe V500ME03-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 10 dBm at 12 Vdc supply while drawing 25 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -13 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V500ME03-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
