RF Cafe Advertiser - Applied Electromagnetic Technology / RfTek |
As with most venues provided to the public at no direct charge, RF Cafe relies on the generosity of independent advertisers to underwrite the production costs of the endeavor. It is with the greatest sincerity that I thank the companies who have chosen to support RF Cafe. Of course, without visitors (you) - both regularly returning and new arrivals - there would be no incentive for companies to spend their hard-earned money on advertising. My job is to see to it that advertisers and visitors always have a reason to maintain a presence on the website. If the occasion arises where you can use the products and/or services of the good companies that advertise on RF Cafe, I would appreciate your visiting their websites or call their offices at the beginning of your search. Here is a complete list of RF Cafe advertisers. Company: | Highlighted Ad | Applied Electromagnetic Technology / RfTek 5103 Duntrune Court Raleigh, NC 27606 USA

RfTek has partnered with AET to develop the USB Source (USB-S) Comb Generator |
| The USB-S consists of a family of pocket-sized highly stable comb generators with a single comb frequency. An external standard USB connector powers the unit. Available at 10, 64, 100, and 133 MHz (custom available). An option will pulse the comb signal on/off at a slow rate to allow testing of receiver quasi-static detectors, and works for any comb frequency selected. | | Precision Spherical Dipole Source (PSDS) The PSDS is a highly accurate, very repeatable electric field source. Useful for commercial and government EMI/EMC test laboratory calibration measurements and highly accurate and repeatable shielding effectiveness measurements. Radiating element is battery operated, 10 cm spherical dipole antenna. Control unit is bench top or rack mounted, which allows monitoring the amplitude of the radiating electric field at each frequency (15 kHz to 2.5 GHz). |

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
